This post is a quick response to the above article featured in The Telegraph newspaper.
It led me to wondering what people's actual opinions are about smacking children when they are naughty.
Isn't there a difference in beating a child senseless and a light tap on the hand or bottom???
Does smacking a child always mean they will be physiologically disturbed when they grow up???

It IS a very important issue and as I’ve witnessed it has become increasingly more and MORE an issue in many negative and positive ways. It is definitely something that needs to be and SHOULD be addressed. *nods*
I think you’ll enjoy it. It might even be a little entertaining, not sure. XD

Too true, it is and does need addressing. Yes, it is an issue that is negative and positive – I think how you have responded has demonstrated those points extremely well. It is an issue that won’t just go away either; with every new child that is born a parent somewhere will be thinking this through! I have just read your comments and responded. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your words, they struck a chord with me. I felt myself agreeing with you on all the points you have raised!!
