Hello everyone!
It’s FINALLY me again and I’m sorry it’s been pretty much 2 weeks, maybe over that without so much as a, “Hey! How you all doing? I’m okay! I got back home from my trip just fine and this is how FanExpo was!” but I have been busy. Not long after I came home I had to prep for house-sitting. Then while house-sitting, I know I’d have been blogging if I could, but I decided to help out around the house with some extra cleaning that I know would be appreciated by the family once they got back.
I did make it to FanExpo (2013) in Vancouver, B.C. and honestly? It wasn’t that impressive to me, but I have another blog I’d like to dedicate to it for a full detailed review as to why I wasn’t that thrilled with it. I will say putting my make-up on for my costume was totally worth it because I got recognized by a handful of people and THAT was fun. For those unaware, I went as ‘Dawn’ from the ‘Cry for Dawn‘ comics and ‘Dawn Trilogy‘. I just threw something together that looked Dawn-esque and went from there. The Make-up and accents are what really made it.
My man reminded me he missed my blogging which told me, I REALLY should try to make some time for updating my blog. I told myself I was going to, especially when I was house-sitting, but that didn’t work out so well. So here I am today, trying to do just that.
For those wondering about my ‘Donation Pool’ thing I’m trying to do, I have good news and bad news. Bad news is – I still have some kinks to work out of the 1st plan I had. The Good news? I may have yet another GREAT contingency plan that would work out far better than the 1st. Just all depends on YOU and the amount of traffic I bring in to my blog. I’ll tell you more as the plan truly unfolds and if I hit another ‘snag‘ I’ll tell you about it. Don’t worry.
Bright side? Some of the stuff on my ‘Project List‘ I want to see done, is slowly happening for some parts of the town. Houses that I wanted to help paint are getting painted, whether or not they are getting inspected too for health and safety though, is another story. Still, someone said, “Maybe it’s all your positive energy you are putting toward it that’s helping make it happen? And maybe it’s Spirit’s way of saying, You should save & spend your money on other projects – I got this one.” would be kind of cool.
Hard to say though. Any who, I need to update the info in the project page and hopefully type up some other posts today like a ‘Mad-woman’. I hope all of you out there are well and are experiencing blog success in your own way or whatever kind of success you’d like to be having right now. Until next time – thank you for reading!

Do you feel like you “get” social media, or do you just use it because that’s where all your friends and family are?
Hey all you readers and bloggers out there!
I know it’s been a while since my last blog. I apologize. I’ve started to get those “Pre-Convention Panic” Jitters, because FanExpo (the convention in Canada, going with my Man and his male best-friend) is this month and I need to finish my DAWN Head-Dress soon. It’s almost there. I can’t tell you how much I wish I had the proper Power Tools to do some “Subtractive” sculpting, but alas, I must work with what I got. So I’ve been focused on that, doing Readings in SL, Gardening and trying to get some errands done.
So I’ve been a very busy wee Hummingbird. :3
I had a couple new things I wanted to write about, but going to type those up at “Human hours” vs. my normal “Vampire Hours“.
and NO this Vampire/Night Owl does NOT Sparkle…unless I want to.
hehe So here’s a little something for fun.
When they ask do I “Get” Social media I have to wonder what they mean. Do I understand how it works? Can I see the functionality of Social Media? Do I think Social Media can be useful? Or useless? I guess the answer to nearly all of those is a resounding, “Yes”. Albeit, I do feel some of the Social Media services out there are rather redundant and unnecessary. I think Social Media is a VERY powerful tool and to that I would also like to add, “With great power comes great responsibility“. Yes; that’s right. I just used a Comic Book quote.

So I hit a small snag getting the Donation button up. Granted, I had already given this thing a loosie-lue but I thought maybe perhaps things will be easier once Mercury is out of Retrograde and I can get around to changing my personal info to keep it up to date, etc, etc. Ah, now I’m not so sure. I wanted to set up the donation pool and I have good intentions in mind for it, but PayPal is telling me that I won’t be able to even TOUCH the funds until it reaches $10k and even then, I need to show/demonstrate proof of its use.
Ugh, I wanted to move the money little by little into the different sub-accounts I made to keep tabs and track of it all! They are ruining my organization! *Shakes fist in the air*
Now I do have a possible plausible way of still getting it to work, but that hinges on something else being legal, true and holding up to both those words I just mentioned. I’d like to say what, but – I can’t for various reasons so I need to, sadly, be cryptic and vague. Ugh! @_@ I AM working on getting this thing to work. Sadly, the worst case scenario, I have to make a subscription button or something like that instead.
It won’t give me the same kind of flexibility I’d like or I’m sure anyone else would like, but it’d be something at least. Ugh!
If you have any ideas, please feel free to share. Would love to hear them.
Oh and just out of curiosity, if I HAD to make a fixed amount for any reason, what would be reasonable to you? I know that depends if your making a “One-time payment” or a “Subscription Fee” so specify that too if you can.
Thanks for reading as always!

Apparently there is more just blogging awards going around, but also those “Tag your it!” chains that spread from one friend to another – or it could be an acquaintance too. Bex (The Savvy Seniorita) had a moment to share this with me.
I will do this for fun and the people I tag, well – I’m only tagging people who might see the fun in it too or legitimately try to do it, if they haven’t already. Even if you HAVE you have to again! That’s how “Tag” works people!
So here goes…So what is ‘tagging’ -
1. Post the rules.….
2. Post a photo of yourself and eleven random facts about you.
3. Answer the questions given to you in the tagger’s post.
4. Create eleven new questions and tag new people to answer them.
5. Go to their blog/twitter and let them know they have been tagged. More

Hey folks!
I didn’t forget about this – okay, I did temporarily but this was something I definitely wanted to do before I forgot again. This is a written transcription of the Questions that were asked in my semi-informal interview on Mainstreet Universe. These won’t be word-for-word as I had written these example questions up prior to the interview, however – I may be expanding on some of the answers AND finally sharing some information you may have been dying to hear in the interview but I was too shy to share at the time.
So I still encourage you to listen to the interview, but for those who don’t know – it’s 2 hours long, give or take, so be sure you have the time to listen and eat something! The Interview can be found here (click the “here”).
1) What is the title or Working title you have for your novel?
Operation Charlie Bravo at least that’s what I’ve called it. The actual title will be something along the lines of, “Cursed Blood“. I did some recent research and found like maybe 2-3 other novels with the title, so there will be a “sub-title” to go with the main title of the book, hopefully making it easier for people to find when searching for it and make it less confusing too as to which novel it is. Hello and Merry Meet fellow Bloggers and Readers!
So far, I’ve gotten no feedback on what you think of the revamp of my new bio (see P.A.U. 18 for that one) but I know one person at least liked it. Still, my vote of confidence as to whether it’s well written and still fairly entertaining, to me, are sketchy at best. So if you can, please don’t forget to stop by, give it a read and give me your thoughts on it. I’d very much appreciate it. Thank you!
If you haven’t noticed already, I’ve made some serious changes to the blog. I’m trying to give it a slightly more Professional feel, to a certain extent, while also trying to promote “ease of use“. If you feel any of the side-bar stuff is confusing, a bit crowded, busy or something – please let me know! I’m changing things up only because I want it to be easier for my Readers and fellow Bloggers to find things and navigate my blog! So I’m not just doing this for me. If you liked the way something was before, try to explain to me what it was in a comment or take a screen-cap and share it with me. More

This is a response topic to that of Bex, The Savvy Seniorita, posted on her site. She had noticed that some people were being nominated for blog awards (before she got one) and that these awards would ask the people to tell others 7 things about themselves. In this instance she wants people to post 7 things that are about their personal beliefs. I noticed I have some of the same beliefs as her, though I think I’ll re-name them.
1) True Love:
Not to be confused with, “To Blaaaave” which means to BLUFF!.
I have ALWAYS believed in this seeming intangible thing long before I saw such things as; The Princess Bride. It’s hard to describe and yet also that mutually healthy relationship we all dream of having with acceptance, tolerance, unconditional love ever abundantly flowing, respect and so much more. You can think me naïve and a fool but I don’t care. It’s something I have believed in and always will because it is a beautiful thing! More

I give yet another VERY big thank you once again to The Savvy Seniorita for nominating me for; ‘Very Inspiring Blogger Award’.
I gratefully, graciously and humbly receive this nomination - THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! I am so very grateful to receive such recognition and validation from my fellow peers (bloggers) – who found that I was inspirational, because, God and Goddess only know, I sure as heck don’t always know when I’m BEING very inspirational in the first place, but I do know that I often try to write things to TRY and inspire others. So thank you again, really and truly!
The rules of being nominated:
1. Copy and place the award in your post.
2. Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.
3. Tell 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate 10 bloggers for the award, tell them by posting a comment on their blogs.

Have you ever had a mentor? What was the greatest lesson you learned from him or her?

Yes; I’ve had a Mentor. If I had to be honest with myself I’ve had two major mentors in my life who have profoundly affected my understanding of Magick and being a Pagan. However, I’ve also had other very important Mentors or Teachers come into my life since then. At least six I can think of I met down in Florida when I lived there for two years.
My very first true Mentor that I remember is the reason I finally got down on my knees and swore an oath, dedicating myself to my God and Goddess as I finally accepted the path I had always been born to, just had not yet figured things out on my own and fully come to terms with accepting the path I was meant for.
In a single day, my 1st Mentor shared with me as much as he could before we had to part ways. I have not seen him since that day and I have no idea if he knew what kind of impression he’d leave upon me, but I can’t help but wonder if he had not already seen the Priestess within me waiting to come out when we met. He had that all-knowing twinkle in his eye which told me he was privy to much more than meets the eye. More

Reincarnation: do you believe in it?
I could answer this very simply by saying, Yes – I do. Which is absolutely true, but then you leave all the “whys” hanging in the air. The real question is, why not?
I believe everyone has a Soul, a shard of the great driving force at work in our Universe. A Soul’s principle follows along the same lines regarding the scientific laws of matter, it cannot be destroyed nor can be created. At least not by human hands that we’ve seen so far. If matter cannot be destroyed it must take on a new form or shape as needed.
When we die, we shed our physical vessels (bodies) and the Soul merely seeks to take on a new form. This form can re-manifest in this plane of existence or another as just about anything and everything depending on the agreements (Aye; some of us believe in this too. Whole other lengthy explanation there) we make prior to being incarnated on the plane we are looking to exist upon. More
