This is something I try to remind my Brother of a lot. I feel he often doesn’t recognized (and so does he) or appreciated for the hard work he does. Whether it was serving his country or at his internship. The people there think he’s “lazy”. I tell him, “You know that isn’t true. Should they ever actually say these things to your face, you should point out -exactly- what it is you do that they overlook”.
Not so much so he is appreciated for what he does, but just so the lies “stop”. If there is one thing I know that my Brother and I have in common, it’s this – we both believe in working hard to achieve what we desire. We believe if we work hard, we are doing our best. We don’t care if we are noticed for it, but what we -do- care is people -know- that we -do- our work.
Nice, short, sweet little blog and too the point on such a small, yet important matter.
When we put our heart and soul into a project, we like to be noticed.
When we work on our craft and can see the improvement in our work, it’s nice if it makes a difference in someone’s life.
But what if it goes unnoticed and unappreciated?
What if you’re toiling away in anonymity?
What if no-one ever says thanks for all of your hard work?
